Otago Tile – These are 1/4 inch thick marble pieces that are hand-cut into 5/8 inch wide slabs of lengths varying in between 1½ and 3½ inches. After this, the pieces are tumbled and hand-placed in a brick layer pattern. The 12×12 tiles on which they are placed have an interlocking pattern that maintains the continuous, seamless application. These tiles are available in rich shades and patterns and can be manipulated to synchronize with different materials by simply altering the grout colors and adding stone enhancers. These can be exposed to any kind of climate and can be placed both indoors and outdoors.

Pebble Tiles: Sealing and Cleaning
Pebble tiles have to be sealed with a high quality impregnator twice – once before grouting and once after the grout dries completely. It is recommended that the sealant be applied every 2 to 3 years. Make sure that you follow the manufacturer’s instructions while applying sealants and cleaners. The porosity of pebbles vary and staining occurs in varying degrees if sealants are not applied. Spills must be cleaned immediately to reduce the degree of staining. You can clean the pebbles with mild detergents.
